Privacy Policy

Updated Jun 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how happyhousehold.org handles information. The site is a static editorial publication and does not run user accounts, advertising networks or analytics profiling.

Information collected

The site does not require registration and does not collect personal information automatically for marketing. Standard web server logs maintained by the hosting provider may record technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as is common for any website.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. A single browser local-storage value is used to remember whether the cookie notice has been accepted or rejected, so the notice is not shown again. This value stays in your browser and is not transmitted to a server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

The contact form

The contact form on the home page operates in the browser only. It validates the fields and confirms submission locally; it does not transmit the entered name, email or phone number to a server through this site. To reach the editor, you may also use the email address listed on the About page.

External images and links

Article images are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When an image loads, your browser contacts that host, which may receive standard request data. The site also links to public Canadian government and housing references; those external sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site. The date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision.
